Join ALS Coal – Bowen Basin as a Permanent Quality Coal Tester! We are currently seeking two (2) Quality Coal Testers to join our well-established Laboratory Testing team in the Bowen Basin on a permanent basis . This role operates on a 7-days on / 7-days off roster and is Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Mackay . Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Collecting production and train samples across the site. Conducting a variety of coal testing methods, including Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including Validating results and ensuring they meet accuracy and repeatability standards. Adhering strictly to Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Prioritising safety and efficient turnaround of test results. Maintaining a clean, well-organised lab and work area. What We’re Looking For: A strong commitment to safety , quality , and teamwork . High attention to detail and strong organisational skills . Excellent communication and reliability. Previous coal testing or laboratory experience (highly regarded). A valid Driver’s Licence. Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster.
